Very soon after we launched the initial idea of a new Great Pyramid, the project received much attention from major media. Those write ups and TV news clips oscillated between unconcealed fascination and outright scepticism.
Rightly so, we would say now. A good part of the press coverage sensed, the Great Pyramid project was somewhat sitting on the fence back in 2007, between being a conceptual media art project and a straightforward and pragmatic proposal that could actually be realized.
Other than in 2007, we now feel neither urge nor need anymore to make spectacular but rather unreasonable claims like „the biggest building in the world“. The supporting association Friends of the Great Pyramid e.V. that initially boasted statements like this is now defunct.

The core part of the original team now carries on with the project but prefers to stick to what we had defined as an indispensable future overarching ethics guideline already in the book that finally concluded the very first conceptual stage: Be true!
We will make press links available here after we finalized the relaunch of our website.
