Ingo Niermann, whose short essay “Deutsches Weltwunder” (”German Wonder of the World”) in his book “Umbauland” triggered our project, provided information in an interview with German daily “Die Welt” in November last year.
The Great Pyramid has been introduced to the public at the Futurological Congress, organized by the Westfaelischer Kunstverein in Munster for the first time. The WKV had invited researchers and artists to reflect on the future and present projects. Of particular interest besides the Great Pyramid: Marjetica Potrc´s positive reinterpretation of the “balkanization”-idea and Hans Bernhard´s report about his work with ETOY-Corporation and ubermorgen.com.
Our concept was invariably well received. First customers asked for reservations.
The Munster lecture in German is available as a PDF-download now. A translation into English will be uploaded by early February.
The beta of thegreatpyramid.org is online at last. The site will be fully functional in a couple of days. We will present more detailed information about the Great Pyramid, updates on our project work and information on funeral cultures throughout the world. Welcome.
